Description110126-A-XA675-015 (5428918991).jpg	SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Paige Caldwell (right), readiness section chief for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Sacramento District, speaks to an attendee during an open house event for the district’s new emergency operations center here Jan. 26. Caldwell highlighted some of the new features of the EOC, including 14 workstations for the various district sections and the commander; a conference room with video teleconferencing capabilities and six television sets monitoring weather, flood, hurricane, fire and earthquake websites, and news stations. The new EOC was designed to support the district’s around-the-clock response to disasters.
