The Bell's Fairy Wrasse (Paracheilinus bellae) is a beautifully colored wrasse found among the Indo-Pacific Ocean. They can have a large variety of coloration, typically having a red or pink body with mottled design on the dorsal section, yellow or blue dorsal fins. They reach a maximum size of 3 inches and do well in an aquarium of at least 30 gallons. They should have plenty of rocks to hide among and do best in peaceful reef tanks. They should not be housed with larger, predatory fish, and a lid is recommended, as many wrasses are capable of jumping.
