Montipora Coral, Montipora sp., is one of the most popular SPS corals in the trade. They feature bright body colors, a much hardier nature than similar-looking Acropora corals and come in a wide variety of growth morphs. Though they are not aggressive, they should not be put close to other corals that may sting it. Montipora Corals thrive best in strong light, moderate to high waterflow, and near the top of the aquarium. Montipora can be very brittle so take extra caution when moving them.
