The Five-Lined Snapper (Lutjanus quinquelineatus), also seen as the "Fiveline Snapper", is endemic to the Indo-Pacific, specifically around Indonesia and the Philippines. They have a yellow body with five blue, horizontal lines, running from their nose to their caudal fin. Their large eyes and mouth aid in finding and consuming smaller fish or crustaceans. They require a carnivorous diet and should have ample room to swim. They do best in schools housed in very large aquariums. They should not be kept with smaller fish, such as damsels or smaller gobies, as they will likely see them as food.
