The Hidden Hermit Crab can be found off the coast of Eastern Asia. Their body is an olive green with brown or purple stripes on the legs. They reach a maximum size of 1.5 inches and scavenge the tank for leftover food or detritus, as well as hair algae. They are reef safe and will not bother corals, but they may hunt down smaller crabs or snails. They should not be kept with larger predatory fish, such as groupers or triggers.
