The Hippopus Clam (Hippopus hippopus), also known as the Horse Hoof, Bear Paw and Strawberry clam, is a species of Giant Clam found among the Indo-Pacific Ocean. They require moderate lighting and flow, as well as high amounts of nutrients in the water. They can reach sizes as large as 30 inches in length and should only be kept with fish and invertebrates that are reef safe.
Very nice clam! Been in my tank for a month now. Doing very well.
