The Purple Frammer (Frogspawn/Hammer)  Euphyllia sp. It has brightly colored purple tentacles that especially shine under actinic lighting. The frammer is most active during the day and generally retreats into its skeleton at night. A photosynthetic energy-obtainer, it will also benefit from trace element supplements. It is best kept in a tank with moderate water flow and lighting and should not be kept near other corals due to its stinging nematocysts. If the frammer Coral gets attacked by any organism, be sure to attend to it quickly as it can cause an infection for other corals.
