The Whip Gorgonian (Gorgonia sp.) is a deep-sea coral found among the Indo-Pacific Ocean. It is non-photosynthetic, relying on the water column to supply al of its nutrients. This being said, it should be kept in a darker location with moderate-high flow and should be fed on a regular basis to ensure it is receiving proper nutrients. Phytoplankton or other micro coral foods should be fed at night, as this is when it is most active.
