The True Tulip Snail (Fasciolaria tulipa) is a large marine gastropod found among the Eastern cost of the United States, down towards the coast of Texas. They navigate shallow waters during high tide, then hide below substrate and sand during low tide. Adults can reach a maximum size of 9 inches, though this is dependent upon diet and tank size. They should have plenty of moderate-to-fine substrate to sift through and burrow among. Their diet consists of detritus, small crustaceans and other bivalves or gastropods.
Well packed.
