The Turban Snail (Tectus fenestratus), also known as the Pyramid Snail, can be found among the shallow reefs of the Indo-Pacific Ocean. They thrive on algae and seaweed, and help keep aquariums clean and algae-free. They are peaceful towards others and will not bother coral; though hermit crabs may attempt to predate them. They should be slowly acclimated and may be susceptible to sudden changed in water parameters.
